CMP – Companhia Metalgraphica Paulista
Technology

The history of the steel can in Brazil is confused with the history of the CMP. We are the first company to produce steel can packaging in the country. In order to consolidate ourselves in the market and maintain a relationship of trust and respect with customers, we always seek to renew our production processes through new technologies, delivering high quality products .

In the 90’s, we invested resources in the acquisition of an electronic weld. In 2000, we purchased a state-of-the-art automatic press for component production. In 2001, we acquired two Soundronic soldering machines, modern machines for making cans. In 2013, we inaugurated our most technological plant in Cajamar. We purchased equipment that optimized process time, generating immediate results for both us and our customers.

We are equipped with a state-of-the-art quadricolor printer capable of processing 6,000 sheets of tin per hour with ultraviolet (UV) finishing, a significant increase over conventional printers with a capacity of up to 3,500 sheets per hour. Our color manager reduces the process of developing lithography from 30 days to seven days.

To expedite the preparation or change of labels, our prepress provides digital proof with color management system to ensure fidelity to the arts. We also have a dual stacker varnishing and dynamic transfer program at the speed of 7,000 sheets per hour, which generates cost-benefit to the process and gains for all.

All these investments in the production lines combined with the privileged logistics, ease of loading, speed of production, ability to develop new labels, flexibility of set up and agility in delivery result in packaging that stands out in the market and that offer added value to the products Of our customers.
