The region of Baixada Santista, on the coast of São Paulo, was contemplated by this expansion process, now having almost 40 Voluntary Delivery Points (PEVs), divided among the eight cities that comprise it: Bertioga, Cubatão, Guarujá, Itanhaém, Mongaguá, Peruíbe, Praia Grande, Santos and São Vicente. Agreements with three chains of paint stores made it possible to install, in recent weeks, 23 new PEVs there and one more in the municipality of São Sebastião.
This massive implementation in the coastal region meets, before the established deadline, the commitments assumed within the action plan defined in the Environmental Cooperation Term signed with the Special Action Group for the Environment (GAEMA), of the Public Ministry of São Paulo. The document, signed in 2018, has Prolata, Abeaço, Abrafati and Artesp as signatories. The action is also part of Prolata's expansion strategy in the state of São Paulo, strengthening the commitment signed with Cetesb at the end of 2020.
