Pineapple Christmas Pave
Ingredients: – 1 pack of coconut flakes – 2 packs of English biscuits – 1 can of pineapple in syrup (can be peach or plum too) – 1 can of cherries For the syrup: – 1 glass of coconut milk – 1 pack of grated coconut – 1 can of cream – 2 cans of condensed milk – 4 tablespoons of cornstarch – 3 egg yolks – a tablespoon of vanilla extract
Mode of preparation: Beat all of the syrup in the blender, with the exception of the cream; then heat over medium heat, stirring constantly so as not to create lumps. Turn off the heat, add the vanilla and cream and set aside. Cut the fruit into the chosen syrup very thinly and set aside. Soak the cookies in the syrup. In a container like a pyrex, vary between layers of biscuit, syrup, chosen fruit and place the cherries in the middle. In the last layer, use the coconut flakes, and bon appetit!
